Still Cooling it Off
I've been having a lovely time here in Tamarindo. The weather is absolutely perfect every minute of every day. Flo and I have fallen into a retired lifestyle where we get up at six and within an hour we are walking on the beach. We have one or two light meals a day in restaurants and eat at home lots too. We've been totally on our own since we arrived and tomorrow our alone time will come to an end. Our first guest, my nephew, will arrive tomorrow followed by my hubby's adult granddaughter and her boyfriend. Finally the holiday will end with my brother and his wife joining us.
I have been abstaining from alcohol and it's been a slippery slope. Being in Costa Rica's hottest tourist town and constantly eating in bars/restaurants has wrecked havoc on my resolve. I've been iffy many times over the past week. But I'm not drinking. I am not toking as much as I do at home either.
I am finally getting my groove and the next challenge will be to keep it with a houseful.
We do arise very early and I would love to see this continue when we get home.
Getting up at six and being present and aware for the first few hours of the day can bring so much productivity and will help bring Little Raven Healer to the forefront.
As an early riser, Little Raven Healer will have the time to practice ceremony, affirmations, to write, to breathe, to bathe, to nourish her soul. She can plan her day and touch the lives of her children, grandchildren and other loved ones and be touched by them.
If the first six hours of my day are filled with productive activity, I will be free from noon til bedtime to pursue the relationships, passions, interests and passions I adore.
Food for thought.
